From the 1st April 2018 we will be reducing the TEC at Peterhead to zero. The cancellation of our TEC at this time is a risk mitigation measure to avoid a substantial cancellation charge if we were to cancel later in the year, once we have completed our review of the stations future, which we announced on 6 February 2017. We will reapply for TEC and subject to receiving a satisfactory offer from NGET, reinstate TEC should our review conclude that the station has an enduring future.

It is anticipated that Viking Windfarm on Shetland will be fully commissioned by July 2024, with over 400MW being exported to the National Grid. It is likely that up to approximately 100MW will be available from April 2024. This is subject to a number of factors including weather conditions and the progress on the separate 600MW HVDC link project to Shetland, as well as any associated works
